Rule of Thirds feauturing Akai!!!    Breaking the rule of thirds:

 Line: I took a picture of the railings at our school. Shape: For shape, I took a picture of a silhouette of me and my friend making a heart at the beach. Color: My 7th period teacher has this poster on her wall that her students, including my class, made during our mini course week last school year.  Space: I took a picture of this nice sunset. Form: I took pictures of some books during my English class.  Texture: I went to the Kalabera Cave with my friend & took this picture of the cave.  Tone: I used a pic of the waves.

Nature Photography: I took pictures of these flowers when I went to Kensington. Black & White Photography: This picture of me was taken when I was at Philippines. Colorful Photography: This picture was also taken when I was at Philippines. We were at the mall & I saw macarons. Sunrise Photography: My friends and I were going for a morning run around 6 am & I took a picture of the sky. Vintage Photography: We were at a 50s themed restaurant & I took this picture of Marilyn Monroe.  

This is my cousin’s dog named Kael. His name comes from both my cousin’s name, Katniss and Axel. I think it’s about 2-3 months old. He usually gets dropped at our house in the morning, since my house is near my cousin’s school.

My heroes / role models are my everyday inspiration. They are the people I always look up to. The people who keep me motivated. The people who I can always rely and count on.  The first people are my parents, my heroes since birth. They were always there for me, supporting and loving me. They work hard everyday providing for me and my siblings, and even if they work hard, they always have time for us. The second people are my grandmas. My grandma (first picture) is one of my role models, because she’s one of the most dedicated person in my life. My other grandma (second picture) is also one of my role models, because she is filled with so much compassion.  The next person is Ms. Tudela. One of the best teachers ever. She’s someone I look up to, because she always made learning fun. Even if she isn’t my teacher anymore, she made an impact in my life.    The photographer I chose is Henri Cartier-Bresson. He is one the most famous French street photographers. His photos are known for their candid photos or “ decisive moment. “ I like his style of photography because everything is natural and you don’t need to pose.   Old Japanese Lighthouse: They use the lighthouse to guide the ships to port.  Last Command Post:This was the headquarters of the Japanese army during the war.Last area of the final assault but the Japanese surrendered. The Old Japanese Jail: served as the home to American prisoners of war after the bloody Battle of Saipan. Suicide Cliff: Soldiers and civilians jumped off this cliff instead of surrendering to the Americans. Banzai Cliff: same description as Suicide Cliff.

  The first thing I see when i wake up is my watch to see what time is it. I usually start showering and start getting ready around 5:30 am. The first thing I do in the morning is eat my breakfast. My mom brought home donuts the day before so I decided to have it for breakfast.  I come to school early, and teachers would usually hang out in my first period class so I go to my friend’s class first. 

     My name is Kriselle Drilon. I’m currently a junior at Mount Carmel School. Some of my hobbies are reading, binge watching on Netflix, hanging out with my friends, and playing volleyball for fun. Some of my favorite foods are sisig, pasta, calamari, and etc. I don’t really have a least favorite food. My expectations for this class is to pass, and to enjoy photography more.
